Loading a class is slow for some teachers.

There are several things which can attribute to slow loading for class results.  Please check the following:

  • Is the internet connection strong where the teacher is logging on?  To test this, see if other websites are loading slow too, for example www.microsoft.com.  You can also make a comparison by trying to log on while connected to a different source of internet - eg: if the teacher is experiencing slowness at home, ask them to try it at school or at someone else's house and see if the speed improves.
  • Are they connected via Wifi?  If so, try connecting via ethernet cable and try again.
  • Is the web browser in need of any updates?  If so, please complete the updates and try again.
  • Are all teachers experiencing slow speeds, or only select teachers?
  • Try clearing the cache.  Click here for instructions on how to do so.

Once you have completed the above tests, if you have not managed to resolve the issue, the school report coordinator may contact the Accelerus Light support help desk for more information.  Please note that the help desk will not recieve phone calls from individual teachers - only the administrators that are recorded as official contacts for the school.
