The student is in Accelerus but the teacher cannot see them in their class

This is usually due to adding the student (either manually or importing the student XML file) and not then adding the students into their classes. Importing the student XML will only add the students to Accelerus, it does not know what classes the student is studying.

Alternatively, the student may have been end dated or withdrawn from classes inadvertently.

  1. Check the student's end date
    • Go to Management > Manage Data > Students.
    • Double-click the row of the student, or click their row and then click the Edit icon.
    • If a date has been entered in the End date field, delete it.
    • Save the student's record.
  2. Check the student's enrolments
    • Go to Management > Manage Data > Students.
    • Click the row of the the student.
    • Click the Enrolments icon.
    • If the student has been withdrawn from all classes or the particular classes from which they are missing, highlight the classes, and click the Re-enrol icon.
  3. If the student has no classes, enrol them by either manually adding the classes or using the Create Enrolments process:
    • Manually enrol new student into classes
      • Go to Manage Data > Student.
      • Find the required student and click their row.
      • Find the classes for the student, eg enter the student's home group code in the filter field.
      • Select the classes for the student and then click Add classes.
    • Use Create Enrolments to bulk enrol the student
      • Go to Management > Create Enrolments.
      • Click Next.
      • Make sure you understand the messages and what changes will be made to your database if you go ahead.
      • Where you do not want a particular change to classes and enrolments to occur, select the appropriate enrolment options.
      • Click Next.
